Dessert

You've probably heard of Affogato? This traditional Italian dessert made of vanilla ice cream drowned in espresso. We've given this specialty a Noka twist, to bring you an even more indulgent dessert!

Ingrédients

  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 of a fresh mango, diced
  • 1 ice cream cone
  • 2 chashaku* of Le Pâtissier matcha
  • 45 ml of water at 65-70°C (149-158°F)

Préparation

  1. In a jar, use an immersion blender to blend the mango pieces into a thick coulis. Set aside.

  2. In your spouted bowl, add the matcha, pour in the water, and whisk everything with your chasen to get a smooth, lump-free, frothy liquid. Set aside.

  3. Don't forget to always dip the bristles of your whisk in hot water before using it. This helps prevent them from breaking. Rinse it afterward under clean water, once you've used it.

  4. In a large glass, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of mango coulis, the scoops of vanilla ice cream, pour the matcha over the top, and finish by breaking up a few pieces of the cone.

  5. Enjoy right away!
