Date bars

Here’s a delicious, quick and easy recipe you’ll love nibbling on when hunger strikes in the afternoon!

Dates are rich in fibre and an excellent source of natural sugar. So why go without?

  • About fifteen dates (any variety)
  • 100 to 110 g peanut butter (runny)
  • 5 g matcha Le Pâtissier
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • Fleur de sel
  1. Cut the dates in half, remove the stones and lay them on a tray lined with baking paper to form a rectangle.
  2. Tip: overlap the dates slightly.
  3. Cover with a sheet of baking paper and press down with a glass to stick the dates together. They should be nice and flat and well stuck together.
  4. Put the peanut butter in a bowl and sift the matcha over it. Mix well.
  5. Then pour it over the dates and spread it evenly over the whole surface.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave and pour it over the matcha peanut butter.
  7. Spread evenly, sprinkle with a little fleur de sel and freeze for 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Then cut into squares with a large knife and enjoy!
